VELORF · DOUBLE-SIDED CARPET TAPE
Your Rug Belongs on the Floor.
Not Sliding Across It.
Tired of pulling the same rug back into place?
Give it an extra layer of grip underneath—so your room
stays looking the way you arranged it.
Hidden underneath. Helpful every day.
DOUBLE-SIDED GRIP
Stop Straightening the Same Rug. Again.
You line it up with the sofa. Someone walks past.
The runner shifts, the edge moves, and suddenly you
are adjusting it all over again.
This double-sided tape creates an adhesive connection
between the rug backing and a compatible floor,
helping reduce everyday sliding.
The tape sits beneath the rug, keeping the practical
part out of sight while your rug remains the centre
of attention.
Less sliding. Less repositioning. More time enjoying your space.
FIBERGLASS REINFORCEMENT
The Strength Is in the Grid.
Look beneath the yellow liner and you will see
the woven fiberglass mesh that gives this tape
its structure.
This reinforcing grid supports the adhesive strip
as you handle and position it. Instead of relying
on an unsupported adhesive layer, the tape has
a woven framework running through it.
It is a small construction detail with a clear
purpose: helping the strip keep its form beneath
the rug.
A reinforcing mesh, built into the tape.
HAND-TEAR CONVENIENCE
Take the Length You Need.
A small corner needs a different amount of tape
from a long rug edge. Prepare each strip for the
area you are working on.
The tape is designed to tear by hand, so you can
prepare manageable pieces as you go. If you prefer
a precisely measured finish, cut your strip to length.
Start with the loose area you want to secure,
rather than covering more of the backing than
the job requires.
Short pieces for small areas. Longer strips for longer edges.
CORNER AND EDGE HOLD
Give That Lifted Corner a Neater Finish.
A rug can look perfectly placed—until one corner
starts lifting. You press it down, walk away,
and notice it again the next time you enter the room.
Apply a suitable strip beneath a loose corner
or edge to help anchor that area against the floor.
The extra hold can help the rug lie flatter
and look more orderly.
Keep the rug you already like, and focus on the
edge that needs attention.
A small improvement beneath the edge can make the room feel tidier.
Results depend on the rug backing, floor surface
and condition of the curled edge.
SURFACE COMPATIBILITY
Find the Right Grip for Your Floor.
An entrance mat may sit on tile. A living-room
rug may rest on finished wood. Different rooms
call for a little thought before applying adhesive.
This tape is offered for a range of application
surfaces. Compatibility depends on the particular
floor finish and rug backing—not just the name
of the flooring material.
Check the care instructions and try a small hidden
area first. Once you have confirmed a suitable
match, prepare the area and apply your strips.
Avoid loose, delicate or damaged finishes.
Always follow your flooring manufacturer's guidance.
SIZE IT TO YOUR SPACE
Your Rug. Your Coverage.
Choose a width that fits beneath the edge you
want to secure, keeping the tape inside the rug
perimeter and out of sight.
Next, measure the sections you intend to tape.
Compare the total with the roll length shown
in your selected size option.
Working on several rugs? Add their measurements
together before choosing your pack. It is an
easy way to plan for the hallway, living room
and other areas in one order.
Check the selected product option for exact
width, roll length and pack quantity.
PEEL-AND-STICK APPLICATION
Peel. Position. Press.
You do not need to replace your rug to give it
more grip. The peel-away liner keeps the second
adhesive side covered until you are ready
to position it.
Prepare the surfaces, attach your strip to the
backing, remove the liner and press the rug
into its intended position.
A Better Hold Starts With Good Preparation.
1. Check & Clean
Check the floor and rug care instructions.
Test a hidden area, then clean both surfaces
and allow them to dry completely.
2. Prepare Your Strip
Measure the area you want to secure.
Cut or tear a suitable length, keeping the
strip within the rug edge.
3. Apply & Peel
Press the tape onto the rug backing.
Peel away the yellow release paper to
expose the second adhesive side.
4. Position & Press
Position the rug and press firmly along the
taped areas. Check that it is properly secured
before walking across it.
Start With One Rug—or Plan for More Rooms.
Choose your pack around the areas you actually
want to secure.
For a Targeted Fix
Focus on one rug or a few loose edges.
Measure the affected areas and choose enough
tape for that job.
For Several Rugs
Add up the sections of your hallway runner,
entrance mat and living-room rug before
selecting a larger pack.
For Extra Tape on Hand
Include spare tape if you have more rooms
to work through or want additional strips
for later adjustments.
Before You Tape: Your Questions Answered.
Which width should I choose?
Choose a width that fits beneath the area
you want to secure without extending beyond
the rug edge. Refer to the available product
options for exact dimensions.
How much tape will I need?
Measure each section you plan to tape and
add the lengths together. Compare that total
with the length shown in your selected
roll option.
Can it help with a curled corner?
It can help hold a loose corner against
a compatible surface. Results depend on the
backing and how strongly the rug is curled.
Heavily distorted rugs may need additional
treatment.
Can I use it on any flooring?
Floor finishes vary. Follow your flooring
manufacturer's advice and test a small
hidden area first. Avoid delicate, loose
or damaged finishes.
Will removal leave residue?
Removal results depend on the surface,
finish, conditions and time in place.
Peel slowly and carefully. Do not assume
every surface will release without marks
or residue.
Can I lift the rug for cleaning?
Lift carefully and inspect the tape.
Dust and repeated lifting can affect adhesion.
Check the hold before using the rug again
and replace affected strips when needed.
Do the surfaces need to be completely dry?
Yes. Clean and dry the floor and rug backing
before application. Moisture, dust and
cleaning-product residue can interfere
with the adhesive connection.
